The practical work at the Winter School will assume some prior knowledge and skills in certain areas. If you do not have these, then you will not be able to fully benefit from attending the School. Also the tutors supporting the practical work will not provide help with problems that are a result of a student not having that prior knowledge.
We will provide a number of prerequisite exercises which cover those areas. We expect all students either to be already able to do those exercises or to acquire, prior to the school, the ability to do so.
Participants are strongly advised to complete all prerequisite exercises, as the school will assume that the participants have this basic level of knowledge.
