Attending the International Winter School on Grid Computing '08 requires the following equipment:
Personal computer with loudspeakers or headphones
High-speed Internet connection.
A SSH client will be required to access some of the tutorials during the Winter School. SSH clients for Windows can be download from here (http://www.openssh.com/windows.html). Apple OSX users can use the terminal or download clients from http://www.openssh.com/macos.html.
Similarly other UNIX users can use embedded terminal applications or download from http://www.openssh.com/unix.html or other sources.
