Sophia Antipolis is a scientific park developed in the vicinity of Nice, on the French Riviera, since 1969. There are near to 1276 corporate names represented in the park, and 26 635 direct jobs have been created. The University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis and the CNRS French National Research Center form a competitiveness cluster in harmony with the knowledge and the know-how of the site. The Information technology-electronics-telecommunications cluster represents 25% of companies of the site and nearly 50% of the jobs.
The school will be hosted in the modern Electrical Engineering building of the Polytech'Nice-Sophia Engineering School. It is connected to the University network and the RENATER French national Internet backbone through very high speed links. Wireless access is available. Sophia Antipolis is very conveniently located at 20 km from the Nice – Cote d'Azur airport and directly connected through the A8 highway. The bus ride from the airport is less than 15 minutes outside rush hours. Sophia Antipolis is a quiet, pleasant place in the middle of a typical Mediterranean pine forest. It is located at 12 kilometers from Antibes city center and the sea border. The southern alps are close in the background. The climate is mild all year and warm in summer. The public bus transportation system connects Sophia Antipolis to all sea border cities nearby (Antibes, Biot, Valbonne, Cannes, Grasse, Villeneuve Loubet, Cagnes sur mer, Nice, Monaco...).

Social Program
The school attendees and tutors will be invited to participate to the school social program:
On Saturday the 11th in the afternoon: free visit in Nice old city and see border, dinner at a nice restaurant in Nice.
On Sunday the 12th: visit of the Maeght artistic foundation in Saint Paul in the morning and visit of the Handicraft's village of Gourdon in the mountain side (possibility for a short hike), dinner at a restaurant in Bar sur Loup.
On tuesday the 14th in the evening: France national day fireworks on the see border at the international fireworks competition in Cannes
