Letter from Thomas and Micheala

Dear Students,

On Jul 9th there will be poster competition where you can not only win fantastic prizes (last year's prize was a voucher for Amazon) but it will also be a wonderful chance to get to know your fellow students and break the ice regarding your work. It makes it easy for you to find possible help for your projects and build the right connections from the very beginning.

As you see, it is not the poster that matters --- the poster itself has by no means to be perfect and could be easily produced by you in a few hours and maybe even on site --- what matters however is the outcome: Friendships with people sharing similar problems and fruitful discussions and collaborations in your current working domain.

You get the possibility to express your ideas, so this poster competition is at least as important as the knowledge you will gain through attending the summer school!
