40 other people started to fill in the applications
form but did not complete it.
We have now sent out invitations to attend the Summer School to
64 applicants.
We have begun to make offers to students on the waiting list in order of
merit. We still expect to that the ISSGC07 will include between 60
and 70 students. The offers slightly overshoot because some students
find they are unable to come. If you can come, please register and pay as
quickly as possible. If you can't, please withdraw as quickly as possible,
so we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list. If there are
extenuating circumstances delaying your decision please notify us on
issgc07@lists.nesc.ac.uk
quoting your student ID number.
We had to send out letters to some students to say that they were not
accepted for ISSGC07. We were sorry to have to do this, but the capacity of
the Summer School is limited and we have to take care to select those who
can gain most benefit. In quite a few cases, we were unable to make an
offer because a response had not been received from the applicant's referee.
Please consider trying again next year or attending one of the other Summer
Schools advertised on the ICEAGE web site
http://www.iceage-eu.org.
Applications are now closed - however, we will consider applications supported
by a member of the Programme Committee.
